Reamstown Elementary 5th grade students had the option to participate in the annual PA Attorney General’s Drug-Free Calendar Contest. Eighteen students participated, and three local winners were selected. Representing Reamstown at the state-wide competition include: Eden Desiato, Mason Beisker, and Sophie Cohen. Their original artwork has been sent to Harrisburg for entry in the state-wide competition.
The 2022 calendar will be the 25th year that the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office has sponsored this opportunity for students. The calendar contest is funded through the Community Drug Abuse Prevention Fund. Fines and penalties collected from certain offenses, such as driving under the influence, contribute to the fund.
